at Southern Illinois University
Hundreds
of faculty and classified staff recently turned up the pressure on recalcitrant
university officials with a mass picket line in front of the administration
building. The unity effort, a first for the two NEA local affiliates,
came after months of negotiations failed to produce an agreement for either
groups.
