Problems
Problem-based learning, or
PBL, is a relatively new teaching method in which students, usually working
in groups, attempt to solve real-world problems. The professor acts as
a facilitator, a tutor, a resource, but is not the source of the course’s
content—the students are, through their own research and analysis.
The aim: fostering independence and critical thinking.
