Teamwork Works

Students at Brookdale Community College in New Jersey improved their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, raised their grades, and learned to better communicate when they took part in the college’s Peer-Led Team Learning Program. The method, says this issue’s Thriving in Academe author, teaches teamwork.

Members have their say at the 2003 NEA Representative Assembly. More than 9,000 delegates to NEA's 2003 Representative Assembly vowed to implement NEA's Great Public Schools for Every Child Action Plan and create the reality of a nation fully committed to quality education for all.
