Massachusetts State College Faculty Protest Lack of Bargaining Progress
Wearing caps and gowns, members of the Massachusetts State College Association, NEA's affiliate representing faculty and librarians at the state's colleges, demonstrate in Boston outside the lobbying and public relations firm headed by Stephen Tocco, chairman of the sate Board of Higher Education. State college faculty haven't received a pay raise since 2002 and earn about 11% less than faculty at peer institutions.
