A Pact, At Last!
A three-year struggle for a contract and faculty rights at
Ferris State University ended with a new agreement after a short strike in early
September. With strong support from students, the community, and their Michigan
Education Association colleagues, the Ferris Faculty Association withstood
ultimatums and threats of reprisals to finally persuade the recalcitrant Board
of Trustees to sit down and negotiate a fair agreement. education.
