Perseverance!
When the University of Maine offered
clerical, office, lab and technical workers---members of NEA's support staff
affiliate there---a 0.25 percent contribution to their retirement plan, chief
negotiator Suzanne Moulton said "Not enough!" A statewide campaign,
visits to every campus, and picket lines followed.
