They're talking on campus. . .

...about the one-third of all college courses that now use the Internet as part of the syllabus. That's up from about 15 percent in 1996, notes the Campus Computing Project.

The Project's annual survey of campus trends finds that 23 percent of all courses are using Web pages for class materials. Just 4 percent did so in 1994.

...about a sharp increase in computer-assisted cheating on college campuses.

University officials say reports of cheating include plagiarizing from the Internet, sharing answers with other students via E-mail, and stealing information from a fellow student's files.

... about lackluster enrollment at Western Governor's University.

So far only about 200 students have signed on since this much-touted cyberspace institution opened its cyber doors in September.
